The Seminar Pengenalan & Klinik Pendaftaran Koperasi sebagai Perusahaan Sosial Koperasi is an initiative aimed at introducing the concept of Social Enterprise Cooperatives to aspiring and existing cooperative leaders, entrepreneurs, and civil society actors.

Organised in collaboration with relevant cooperative authorities and social enterprise stakeholders, the seminar serves to:

• Educate participants on the framework, benefits, and legal structure of registering a cooperative as a social enterprise.

• Empower cooperatives to align business activities with measurable social impact.

• Facilitate on-the-spot consultation through a “klinik pendaftaran” where attendees receive guided assistance on documentation, compliance, and the registration process under the Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM).

By bridging the gap between traditional cooperatives and modern social enterprise models, the seminar supports Malaysia’s goal of fostering inclusive, sustainable economic growth through community-based solutions.
